Sculptures
“I don’t belong to a specific family, school or direction. My sculpture continues to grow, from a journey of discovery within myself, in interaction with what exists around me.
The art movements of the last decades in Western culture have become very polarized. The avant-garde or ‘contemporary art’ follows the path of the idea, the human brain. On the other hand, we have the traditional direction, which means all figurative expressions in plastic art. Partly due to my philosophical training, my work is the result of personal views. We live in an era in which the harmony of Mother Earth is under great threat. I consider it my job to use my artistic talent for this purpose. As a member of the management culture, art is not a morally optional ‘play’ for me. The creative capacity is a basic capacity of every human being. In 500 years, the Earth will look the way we all shaped it. Artists use this ability as a goal in itself, while others usually use it in connection with their main activities on a more subconscious level. For me, however, it is also inextricably intertwined with others such as love, admiration, conscience, beauty.”
